My Dad Wears A Dress is a one-woman show by Maria Telnikoff about growing up with a a transgender dad. Told through the eyes of a child, it explores the difficulties of navigating a heteronormative world when your family life falls “outside the box”. Ultimately it’s a joyful, funny play about difference and acceptance that celebrates having a dad who can teach you how to ride a bike AND wear heels! The show runs at Barons Court Theatre from 22nd-26th November (Tuesday-Saturday) with tickets costing £15/£10.
